Stay out of range of radar boats (know there radar range) and look for a spot where u can hide.
What I do if a play dd's (not my favorit) ask your team to get those radar ships as quick as possible. Stay close to islands and be sure u can run away.
Radar ranges: Rus - 12 km, US 8 - 10 km, UK - 10 km, EU dd's - 7.5km isch. Ger/Jap - no radar but accoustics up to 6 km, Ger dd's have accoustics aswell! French - no radar, cls have accoustics. Ita/Pan Asian - no radar, and no accoustics? (not sure)
If your in a radar ship and want to get rid of those dd's, dont use it to soon. Look around if u have some support around before using your radar. I still make that mistake :S
